Planting Trees at Canopy 2

Core City Detroit’s CANOPY 2 is aptly named as LIRIO is working with Prince Concepts and EC3 to plant over 150 trees for seven duplexes. The CONIFEROUS CORRIDOR traces a crooked path of segmented walkways through the center of the landscape and a series of curated TREE GARDENS frame thresholds at each building. The planting density is approximately 1 tree per 145 sf of landscape - building a diverse and richly experiential urban tree canopy.
